Bio

Finally, she can rid herself of the muklucs, earmuffs, gloves and heavy coats. Taylor Engberg, escaped the winter of the state of Maine in exchange for Florida Sunshine. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business at the University of Maine in the city of Machias, Taylor was accepted into Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law here in Orlando from where she will graduate in December 2022, sit for the Florida Bar exam in February 2023, and come April, Florida should have a new attorney. Taylor joined Jackson Law PA as legal assistant to the firm’s founding partner with aspirations by the firm to capture her once becoming an attorney.

One of Taylors favorite pass times is hiking. Born in Bay Harbor located on Mt. Desert Island off Maine’s upper northeast coast, Taylor says the winters are really cold due to the wind chill that crisscrosses the island, but it is beautiful and wonderful for hiking both in winter and summer. Acadia National Park is located on the island, one of the 10 most visited parks annually and contains the tallest mountain, Cadillac Mountain, on the Atlantic East Coast that offers hikers majestic views of the ocean and where you can watch he first sunrise in the US from October through April, due to its height and eastern location.

Growing up in a blue-collar family, Taylor is the first to graduate college. Taylor says it was her grandparent’s encouragement and inspirations that guided her ambitions from a very young age. Because of her love for animals, she once thought about becoming a veterinarian but by the 3rd grade, she developed the unbelievable desire to one day become a lawyer and have a practice of her own.

During her college years in Maine, Taylor had the opportunity experience today’s congressional politics as a data captain for getting out the vote and canvassing for a member of congress and bills introduced for passage. During Law School she volunteered her time for the public good, pro bono, regarding guardianship, was certified a mediator by the Florida Supreme Court, became a member of the American Bar Association.

Taylor enjoys hiking, going to the gym and if you know of a good restaurant that leans Italian, let her know as it is her calling. Più pasta per favore!
