FIRM ADMINISTRATOR
John E. Jackson, the firm administrator, is the first point of contact for clients interested in setting an appointment with the firm. Clients both new and existing find that John, although not an attorney himself, has a comprehensive understanding of the firm's legal areas of practice. Clients become quickly confident and comforted by his ability to comprehend, discuss and articulate their individual legal needs prior to setting a consultation appointment with one of the firm's attorneys.
John says, "It is important that every client be met with a live voice. Clients want to speak with someone concerned enough to listen to their legal issues; intelligently discuss, guide and briefly educate them in these matters; and finally direct them to the attorney who will provide them service or resolution. That's what I do."
Since 1999, John has led the law firm in client intake, advertisement, marketing, document management and systems control. During his tenure with the firm, John has implemented a marketing approach that has given the firm prominence within the legal community. In his first years with the firm, John launched one of the first legal websites in the industry. In 2003 he led the firm in becoming one of the first of many businesses to go paperless by converting all paper into digital computer files. In addition to his unique marketing talent, he has implemented state of the art computer technology within the firm and keeps the firm on the cutting edge of newly developed equipment, software and design.
His interest in law began during his construction years as a Florida state certified general contractor when he offered his expertise as contractor to law firms in matters of dispute resolution lawsuits. He has served as an expert witness in jury trials, as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and has assisted attorneys in successful financial settlements of lawsuits between contractors and owners.
Prior to joining Jackson Law P.A., John worked with construction firms throughout Florida, nationally and internationally. After working with other firms, he launched his own construction company, where he led the company in contract development, management and construction. He is a specialist in effective business marketing and advertising, contract development, program management, construction management and project management. His many years in business for himself and employment by other firms provided him with a respected and well-known reputation. His positive reputation is present within the design, construction and development community and extends both in private and public sectors. He has constructed, managed or worked on such notable projects as the Orange County Court House, Hardrock Café worldwide, Planet Hollywood worldwide, Universal Studios Florida Islands of Adventure, Walt Disney's MGM Studio Florida and much more.
John was born in Maryland and moved to Florida as a young child. He completed elementary, middle and high school in St. Petersburg Florida.
