GRAPHIC DESIGNER
April Sedlak, graphic designer for Jackson Law P.A., has been managing the firm's marketing and graphic designing media since 2003. As graphic designer she manages direction of our photography, artwork and print placement for advertisement and publications in magazines, brochures, newsletters, business cards and electronic advertising media on the internet. Simply said, she manages our branding.
April was born in Salem, Illinois. At the age of 12, her family moved to Ocoee, FL. She attended West Orange High School in Winter Garden. While enrolled in high school she developed an interest in television production and graphics. Her internship led to an opportunity following high school to join the Local 6 News station in Orlando, FL as a graphic designer producing on-air graphic still artwork pertaining to news segments. During her employment with Local 6, April attended Valencia College. There she met her husband, Chris. After 5 years in the Local 6 Art Department, she decided to start her own graphic design firm, Striking Designs, Inc., specializing in print design, branding and logo design.
Chris, also a graphic and software designer, developed his own business management software. April decided to merge her graphic talent and business with her husband's and named the business Little Fish Big Ocean, Inc. Married in the spring of 2000, April and Chris have 4 children, a boy and 3 girls. Based in Orlando, Florida, they travel most of the year visiting existing and new clients throughout the US.
