Kevin M. Jackson

Legal Assistant | U.S. Air Force Retired

Kevin Jackson is a legal assistant with Jackson Law P.A. and a retired U.S. Air Force member with 20 years of experience in military healthcare, intelligence, cybersecurity, planning, and leadership.

Kevin is the nephew of attorney Kristen Jackson, founding partner of Jackson Law P.A. He is now beginning a second career in law while helping support the future of his family’s law firm.

He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and spent much of his childhood in Knoxville, Tennessee. He developed an early interest in computers and technology, which later became an important part of his military career.

Kevin began his Air Force career as a medical imaging specialist at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. He performed x-ray exams, managed medical imaging systems, and supported military healthcare operations.

He also spent six months deployed to Afghanistan. There, he led medical imaging operations and provided continuous support to American and allied military personnel.

After several years working in military healthcare, Kevin moved into intelligence and completed additional training at Goodfellow Air Force Base in Texas. He later held several increasingly advanced positions supporting the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command.

His work included studying computer networks, gathering and analyzing information, supporting cybersecurity missions, planning operations, and training military intelligence personnel.

As a network analyst and analytics team leader, Kevin studied digital networks and prepared intelligence reports for military and national-security organizations. He also created better work processes and training standards to help analysts work more efficiently and prepare for their assignments.

Kevin later led a National Cyber Protection Team supporting U.S. Cyber Command. In that role, he helped protect military computer networks by providing information about cyber threats, suspicious activity, and potential risks. He also completed the Joint Cyber Analysis Course at Rory Station with honors.

He then served as a supervisor for computer network exploitation analysts supporting the National Security Agency. He led and mentored military teams working on cybersecurity and intelligence missions. His responsibilities included studying computer networks, identifying useful information, planning missions, and preparing intelligence used by senior military and national-security leaders.

Kevin later served in South Korea as an Offensive Cyber Operations Team Lead with United States Forces Korea.

He planned and coordinated cybersecurity operations and other technology-based activities supporting military operations in the Korean Theater. He worked with American, South Korean, joint-service, and national-level organizations to include developing capabilities in military plans, exercises, and emergency procedures.

Kevin also trained American and South Korean Air Force personnel on cybersecurity capabilities, targeting methods, and how cyber operations could be used during a crisis or war.

He completed his active-duty career at Hurlburt Field, Florida, where he served as a Cyber Operations Program Manager supporting Air Force Special Operations Command.

In that position, he helped coordinate cybersecurity priorities involving intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and military planning.

Kevin also worked to improve how organizations operated. He simplified processes, created consistent training requirements, managed resources, and used automation to save time and improve efficiency.

One of his accomplishments was creating an automated system for managing information requests. The system reduced response times from several weeks to only a few hours. He also helped create a standard qualification program for cyber intelligence analysts across six Air Force wings.

After retiring from the Air Force, Kevin began preparing for a career in law. He joined Jackson Law P.A. as a legal assistant to his aunt, attorney and founding partner Kristen Jackson.

This position allows Kevin to learn the legal profession directly from an experienced attorney while using skills developed during his military career. Those skills include careful research, problem-solving, attention to detail, discretion, leadership, and managing complicated information.

Kevin is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts in Law at the University of Arizona. After graduating, he plans to attend law school and earn a Juris Doctor degree with the goal of becoming an attorney.

His long-term goal is to continue working with Jackson Law P.A. and, if the opportunity becomes available, take on greater responsibility within the firm.

After spending his military career serving the country, Kevin now hopes to help continue the professional legacy his aunt built over several decades.
