T. Michael Woods has been practicing law in Florida since 1971. Initially, his practice was broad based and included business and family law, real estate transactions, landlord tenant matters, probate and guardianship, estate planning, and civil litigation. As his practice grew, he gradually limited the areas of concentration to matters involving commercial transactions, including the sale of businesses and real property, probate, guardianship, and estate planning. Litigation activities are confined to probate, mortgage foreclosures, quiet title actions, and mechanics lien disputes.
He has served as a Special Magistrate for the Orange County Value Adjustment Board involving taxpayer claims for exemptions, and has performed special counsel duties for bankruptcy trustees in the Federal Bankruptcy Court.
Mike has served on numerous Florida and Orange County Bar committees including the Orange County Bar Fee Arbitration Committee (Chair), the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for the Ninth Circuit (Chair), and the State Ethics Committee.
